Mike Wells Jr. — Men's Basketball
Senior guard Mike Wells Jr. (Delaware, Ohio // University at Albany) averaged 20.0 ppg in leading the Cardinals to a 1-1 record this past week, including a career-high 23 in the team's win over Grace Bible College. Wells is currently averaging 2.3 boards per game and shooting 76.2% from the line.
The Men's Basketball team will start off GLIAC play this weekend at Michigan Tech Thursday (Nov. 30) night at 7:30 p.m.
Amanda Thielen - Women's Swim and Dive
Junior forward Abby Duffy (Massillon, Ohio // University of Dayton) averaged 16.0 ppg and 10.0 rpg for the Cardinals in a pair of contests this past week at Ohio Dominican University against ODU and Glenville State.
On Wednesday, Duffy posted her and the team's first double-double of the season against GSU, where she netted 18 points and 14 rebounds.
The Women's Basketball team will return with over a weeks rest of games to start conference play on Thursday (Nov. 30) night. The game is slated to begin at 5:30 p.m.
